I take my first step and the walls overwhelm me. Violet. My feet leave hard clunks on the wood floor until they Are silenced by the carpet I touch the smooth bumps on the wall and reach for the Switch. I am engulfed in light. I place myself on a leopard-print rocking chair and lift A blow-up seat cushion. Air-light. I smell home. I touch the padded bed and feel the soft fabric. I look towards the blinded windows.
